Indian Railways Production Units (भारतीय रेलवे उत्पादन इकाइयां) performs the tasks of the following rolling stock and components of rolling stock. These railway manufacturing units in India export the components of rolling stock to the following countries Bangladesh, Hungary, Central Asain Countries, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa, East Asian Countries and many more. The Production Units on Indian Railways come under mechanical department which produces the different types of components of rolling stock

CLW

A CLW stands for “Chittaranjan Locomotive Works” has named after the great leader, statesmen and also freedom fighter “Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das”. On the republic day i.e, 26th Jan of 1950 the Chittaranjan Locomotive Works has established. DLW

A DLW stands for “Diesel Locomotive Works” is established in the year 23rd Apr of 1956 by the 01st Indian President Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad. It is the Indian diesel train engine which manufactures the following diesel locomotives, electric locomotives etc. It is located at Varanasi of UP

ICF

An ICF stand for “Integral Coach Factory” is inaugurated by 01st Indian Prime Minister Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the year 02nd Oct of 1962. It manufactures designs and also produces the special types of coaches for the Indian Rlys. It is located at Chennai of TN.

RCF

An RCF stand for “Rail Coach Factory” is one of the railway factories in India which manufactures the unit of coaches established in the year 1986. It is located at Kapurthala of Punjab.
