MRVC stands for “ Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation ” (मुंबई रेलवे विकास निगम) a public sector enterprise of Indian government under MoR (Ministry of Railways) which has taken in under Companies Act, 1956 in the year 12th July of 1999. Its equity capital is about the ratio of Rs. 25 crores shared by the MoR and Maharashtra State Government in the ration of 51:49. Under MUTP (Mumbai Urban Transport Project) the Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited will execute the projects that are sanctioned by MoR.
