About Palace on Wheels India

The Palace on Wheels India is a Luxury Tourist Train launched in the year 26th Jan of 1982 by the IR in partnership with RTDC (Rajasthan Transport Development Corporation) in order to promote the tourism in the state of Rajasthan.

With the following brand new itinerary, cuisine and décor the Palace on Wheels train services was renovated and reestablished in the year Aug 2009. In the year 2010, it was voted as the fourth luxurious train.
