About Western Railway Zone

The Western Railway Zone is simply abbreviated as “WR”. It is one of the 17 Railway Zones in India. It is one of the busiest networks of Indian Railways. WR Zone has established in the year 05^th Nov of 1951 and also started operations on the same date. WR Railway is headquartered at Churchgate, Mumbai, and Maharashtra. Western Railways contains the length of 6182 with the meter gauge and broad gauge.

WR Zone Divisions

According to Western Railways Map, the zones are divided into 06 divisions and they are of the following:

Firstly, Ahmedabad Railway Division
Secondly, Bhavnagar Railway Division
Thirdly, Mumbai Western Railway Division
Rajkot Railway Division
Ratlam Railway Division
Lastly, Vadodara Railway Division
